The 12th grade student of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey – Aruzhan Sarbiyeva has received a full grant from the Hong Kong Baptist University. One of the main dreams of Aruzhan was to enter mainly this university. Now she is the first of our school who, thanks to her knowledge, has managed to enter a world-famous university.
Founded in 1956, the university in the world ranking takes 261 places and it is one of the 50 best universities in Asia. At the beginning of the school year, our student sent her documents, and after that, when the time came, she passed an interview with representatives of the university in English via Skype. During the interview, Aruzhan was asked a number of questions about why she chose this university for her future career and about Hong Kong in general. A Semey girl successfully answered all the questions.
I had several options for choosing universities. I chose the world-famous universities. One of them is Baptist University in Hong Kong. I like that university has a high educational process, strict discipline, high demands and competitiveness. I chose the specialty “Business Administration”. In the future I want to contribute to the development of domestic business,” said our student.
