How do I manage time?

There was a curatorial lesson, that was integrated with “self-knowledge” lesson. The topic of the lesson was “How do I manage time?” and Meta-Cognitive method “Мен таңдаған жол” was used. The main objective of this lesson was to widen Students’ knowledge of effective time-management and the usage of the knowledge in their lives. In the beginning of the lesson SS sang “Қайран уақыт”. It helped to create atmosphere and to learn more about the topic of the lesson. After that, they were divided into several groups using “Puzzles”. While Students were doing this puzzle they were developing their creative thinking skills. For example, one student described an owl as a symbol of wisdom and vigilance; the others associated it with their sleeping hours. After finishing this pictures using “associations” students were able to understand the main idea. They watched a video about time-management, shared their opinions and came up with their ideas. After that they were offered to read the information and they should find out the way of managing their own time. They shared the fact that the issue of difficult task can be solved by different methods such as “Yozhik”, “Pomidor”, “Slon” and “Poyedaniye Lyagushki”. Smart objectives that help dreams come truth were also discussed during the lesson.

Students used main information of effective time-management and offered projects on the topic “How can I help myself when I help my friend?”. They were discussing incorrect time-management and its influence on their lives. That’s why the problem is so important.

Students-experts from each group assessed creative works of their classmates using criteria they’d gotten in advance. During the group work students who were in need had been given one direction. Students wrote their plans into the “Journal planner” and shared their experience. During the SWOT-analysis they developed differentiate skills and the ability to knowledge assessment was noted. According to the results of the lesson students were able to communicate, search for information, suggest clear objectives and express their thoughts.
