School Health Day

“Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey” pays special attention to the sports and a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the school year, the various events, competitions are organized and the most active athletes, teams among students and teachers are determined.

The beginning of all these competitions was the annual health day “Shynyksan, shymyr bolasyn!” organized by the Department of Physical Education and Aesthetics. This year, the traditional competitions among “Shanyraks” also continue.

“One of the features of the sport day was that this year we held an event in cooperation with the city organization for the formation of a healthy lifestyle. The center’s specialists came to participate in today’s competition with their prizes. The purpose of this competition is to find the most active team, instill students’ interest in sports, and also show the value of unity among students. “Shanyrak” consists of students of different ages, and with the help of such events, the students develop their various qualities”, said the organizer of the competition Rauan Tattibekuly.

This year, 14 teams participated in the competition. According to the rules, each Shanyrak was represented by five boys and girls. The competition consisted of several stages like “Labyrinth”, “Balls”, “Crossing”, “Tunnel”, which were interesting due to the competition of the teams. During the competition, the time with which the athletes performed the actions was taken into account.

“We immediately supported the proposal of teachers of the intellectual school to host the given event. “We are pleased with the efforts and interest of students in sports, and we will try to improve our ties and implement joint projects in the future,” said Bauyrzhan Mukashev, a member of a Healthy Lifestyle Organization.

According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the Shanyrak “Karagayly”, the second place was taken by the shanyrak “Shakarim”, and the third place was taken by the team “Muztau”. Each team was awarded diplomas and cups, all the teams participating in the competition received the decent prizes.
