Summer holidays are the most exciting moment for kids. One way to make the most fruitful time for them is to go to summer school and to fill up their knowledge. Also, developing a different game thinking system. That is to say, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey organized a summer school for its pupils and pupils of secondary local schools.
Today, the opening of this summer school has begun with more than 500 students. At the opening ceremony at the school yard, a group of Indian students enjoyed one-day life of the Indian tribe. Through this show, they performed their summer home visitor dancing, while doing various physical exercises and dancing.
“Summer school helps every student spend their leisurely breaks. We tried to satisfy the needs of our children. This year, there are a lot of children visiting us from local schools as well. For example, this year, 280 children attended our summer school and we divided them into 15 groups. In addition, 12 paid groups were opened and 165 children were covered in total. At the same time, we do not neglect the children from families with low financial condition. So approximately 90 children will be brought up with their peers, says Nurgul Nurbekkyzy, coordinator of the Summer School.
There are plenty of interesting cognitive clubs and sections for all students in the next 10 days of June. Particularly, “Music club”, “Website development”, “Fun biotechnology”, “Writing club”, “IELTS”, “Physics Olympic School for 9th grade”, “Chemistry kaleidoscope”, “Mathematics Olympic School for 7th grade”, “Mathematics Olympic School for 8th grade’’, “Quick reading 8-9th grades” , “Green Energy”, “Physics Olympic School for 7th grade”, “Russian Olympic School for 7th Grade”, “Graphic and Animation”, “Informatics Olympic School”, “Physics Olympic School for 8th grade”, “Galilee’s Fun Laboratory”, “Robotics”, “Global Affairs Analysis”, “MUN”, “GIN” will help students to develop the knowledge they gained throughout the year.
In addition, for those who love creativity, art, sports, there are such courses available: sewing workshop, ceramic workshop, modern dance, VIA, dombra sections, painting clubs, military-patriotic education, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, gym.
