Dayana is one of the best.

There are not only smart, but also many talented children in the “Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey”. One of them is an 8^th grade student – Dayana Makulbayeva. Each time a young singer proves that she has great prospects. She recently won the 1st place in the “Generation Z”contest for talented children and youth of the international  project “Bala Shabyty”. The competition, which was held in Astana, was organized in several directions, in particular: vocal, choreography, playing the instrument, stage creativity and expressive reading. Young talented students of different ages tried to prove that they were not in vain on the stage.
– I performed among teenagers aged 13-17. For this contest, I prepared a song called “I Will Always Love You”. Seeing the famous Marzhan Arapbyaeva in the jury is a huge responsibility for each participant. Performing a song in front of a professional singer is not an easy task. I think that thanks to the fact that I took advantage of my opportunity, I became one of the winners”, says our student.
Dayana is a member of a “STAR” school vocal club. According to the art director of our school, Ruslan Kasenov, the club works within the framework of the «100 songs» project of the Intellectual Schools. With this project, the students participate in various competitions winning prizes. For example, last year at the international competition “A Winter Starfall” held as part of the “Tangy Shugyla” festival, 4 students of this club defended the honor of the school and won in various nominations. Dayana was among them. And for this year’s victory, the young singer was awarded a special diploma and cup, and the head Ruslan Kasenov was awarded a letter of gratitude.
