The students of the “Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey” showed good results in “Discover Kazakhstan” contest on writing an essay in English, which was organized by AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”. At the competition, held among 9-12 grade students of Intellectual schools and secondary educational organizations of our country, the participants were offered such topics as “Youth is the driving force of the social consciousness revival” (“Spiritual revival”) and “Astana is an Eurasian Center for Business, Culture and Research”. The purpose of this contest is to reveal Kazaskhtan to the world community, determine the level of citizenship and consciousness of students about culture, traditions, climatic conditions, social and political system, economic development and achievements of Kazakhstan.
On April 4 of this year, the students-winners who participated in this competition, were awarded certificates on the school assembly. Among them, Nazim Gadylbekova – 12 “K” grade student, Dilnaz Duysengaliyeva – 10 “D” grade student, Alina Serik received certificates, and Altynai Sydykova took the 3rd place. The students were presented with collections of essays “Discover Kazakhstan”, where the essays of our children were also included
