Good work was continued

A long time has passed since the partnership between Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey and the State University named after Shakarim. Within the framework of the signed bilateral memorandum of cooperation in the region, foreign teachers working in the Intellectual Schools will help improve English language for students studying at the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science.
– This is a great opportunity for our students. Because today no English language courses are offered for free. And thanks to the help of the Intellectual School in our city, we have selected 16 of our best students and have been trained by a qualified specialist. Thank you very much for the school administration, “said Gulnaz Berikhanova, dean of the Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences of the University.
This is not the first time an international teacher of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School has developed English for students. Previously, a group of young people from the same institution had been trained and their success was tested in the Intellectual School as a teacher.
– We aim to train future qualified personnel through this. Our school is taught in three languages, and our teachers are well aware of English. Sixteen students selected by the University are future teachers who teach English in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. We do not only teach them, but also help them to practice in our school, “says Bagdan Kairzhanov, director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics.
However, the headmaster emphasized that the admission of young professionals to the school is carried out according to the general rules.
It should be noted that our school’s physics teacher Askhat Zhumabekov and biologist Bayan Amangeldy are students of the university who have been trained in this kind of training and pedagogical practice. Two-and-a-half hours a week, our foreign colleague, William de Jager, will teach the students. We hope that the day when we will see the next result of the good deed worthy of trust.
